HOW TO COLD STEEP TEA USING YOUR ICED TEA PITCHER

  1. Make sure the silicone seal is on the rim of the steeping filter. Insert the steeping filter in the Mason Jar.

  2. Add loose leaf tea to the steeping filter. A 1 oz package of 603 Perfect Blend Tea will make a full pitcher (64 oz). If you don't want to make a full pitcher follow the per serving size instructions on the tea package. Use the same amount of tea for both hot and iced tea.

  3. Pour water over the loose leaf tea and fill to the first ring on the neck of the jar.

  4. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and allow the tea to cold steep overnight or for several hours.

    Recommended cold steeping time by type:

    • Black Tea/Oolong- 3-5 hours (Follow the recommended steeping time closely for these teas, they will turn bitter tasting if over steeped

    • Green/Rooibos/White Tea & Herbals- Steep for 5+ hours or to taste. The longer you steep the more flavorful your tea will be.

  5. Remove the steeping filter from the jar and replace the lid. Your tea is ready to ENJOY!

  6. Repeat steps 1-5 for a 2nd pitcher and increase steeping time to maximize flavor.

*A majority of 603 Perfect Blend teas can be steeped a 2nd time. To save your tea for a 2nd round, place your steeping filter in a ziploc bag and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
